About The Event
Join us for FREE workout classes on the plaza! Participants must fill out a waiver. Participants under the age of 18 must have their parent/guardian sign their waiver. Ages 15-17 can participate by themselves, but ages 10-14 must have a parent/guardian present. You can drop in without registering for classes, but to ensure that classes are not full, please register online here: YMCA Website
Please bring your own:
- Water Bottle
- Workout Mat
- Towel for under yoga mat
You may also want to bring:
- Sunscreen
- Sweat Towel
- Bug Spray
- Sunglasses
- Workout Gloves(if you use workout gloves)
Here are the class times and descriptions:
Boot Camp
Exercise at your own pace while being led through bursts of intense activity alternating with intervals of lighter activity. Workouts will also include functional fitness, such as using whole-body, multijoint exercises that simulate movements people do in life.. Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle M/W/F 6:00am-6:45am, Saturday 9:00am-9:45am
Boot Camp Circuit
Check, “GREAT WORKOUT” off the to-do list during your lunch break! Get a full body work out doing this timed circuit style class! Come and Go as it FITS YOUR SCHEDULE! Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle. M/W 12:00pm-1:00pm
Burn & Brew
Exercise at your own pace as your instructor takes you through a series of both strength training and cardio full body movements. Head on over to the Bier Gartenafter for some music and fun! Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Thursday 5:30pm-6:15pm
Butts and Guts
Blast your abdomen and booty with this 45 minute workout. This class will strengthen and tone all your core muscles, working on the back, butt and thighs in particular. Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Monday 9:00am-9:45am, Thursday 8:00am-8:45am
Cardio & Core
Cardio and Core class is a combination of aerobics and basic dance movement to various music genres with an emphasis on a full body workout. Some equipment such as weights, bands, and gliders etc. will be used (provided). Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Friday 8:00am-8:45am
Chisel & Burn
This class is designed to help shed that excess fat while building strength and endurance. Class includes circuit training, cardio exercises, bodyweight exercises and finishes with core training and stretching for a complete workout. All fitness levels welcomed! Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Wednesday 9:00am-9:45am
Dance Aérobics
Move and groove with our Instructors to loud, fun music and a variety of line, hustle and freestyle dances. Bring a Water Bottle Wednesday 5:30pm-6:15pm
Golden Fitness
Have fun and move to the music with a variety of exercises designed to increase flexibility, joint stability, balance, coordination, agility, muscular strength, and cardiovascular endurance. Perfect for the experienced crowd (60 and up) Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle T/Th 9:00am-9:45am
Kickboxing
Forget the treadmills, rowers, yoga mats and get ready for a full-body workout like no other! This class will provide kicks, self defense with a twist, shadow boxing and so much more that the whole family will enjoy!! Bring a Towel and Water Bottle Monday 6:30pm-7:15pm
No Limits
Build a stronger body to live a more active life. Push yourself to YOUR limit with strength and conditioning moves perfect for all levels. All fitness levels welcomed! Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Tuesday 5:30pm-6:15pm
Pilates
Pilates exercises will boost your flexibility, joint mobility, and increase core and muscle strength while using your own body weight. It is commonly used as a cross training workout to enhance athletic performance. All fitness levels welcomed! Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Tuesday 8:00am-8:45am
Qi Gong
Qi Gong is a Chinese practice of coordinated physical postures/movements, breathing techniques, and meditation that is designed to reduce stress, anxiety, and improve overall mental clarity & physical health. Wednesday 6:30pm-7:15pm
Ultimate Cardio Jam
Join our instructor for a 45-Minute sweat session, dancing to the hottest new and old school, music. Strengthen your arms and legs with power moves including squats, lunges and equipment while you BUST a MOVE!! Bring a Water Bottle Monday 5:30pm-6:15pm
Yo “Latte”
Nope, it’s not a typo. Yo-Latte is a workout that combines the best stretches from Yoga with the best core exercises from Pilates. Enjoy the sunrise, a great workout and a latte after! Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Thursday 6:00am-6:45am
Yoga
Low Intensity/Restorative - Practice building strength, balance and flexibility through a slow flow of yoga poses. Bring a Towel, Mat and Water Bottle Tuesday 6:00am-6:45am, Tuesday 6:30pm-7:15pm, Friday 9:00am-9:45am, Saturday 8:00am-8:45am
Y on the Fly
Parents come and get your workout in while your children Kindergarten-5th Grade have fitness fun with our Y on the Fly Instructor. Children will have fun exercising, playing games and learning “NEW” sports. Monday 6:30pm-7:15pm, Tuesday 5:30pm-6:15pm, Thursday 5:30pm-6:15pm
