PATRON FACILITIES
General Circulation
This space is
primarily related to the widening of the concourse and the
completion of the concourse on the west and east sides.

Vertical
Circulation
Three new elevators
were added to the facility. Two are passenger elevators,
with one serving the new lobby and the other being shared
between the arena and the auditorium. The third elevator is
dedicated to freight. Several vomitories were added for
access to the upper seats. 900 SQ. FT.
Fixed Spectator
Seating
1,900 seats were added
to bring the total seat count to 4040 in a hockey
configuration. This would include 40 accessible seats
required by the A.D.A. Act. There will be a 300 person
standing room capacity. 6,000 SQ. FT.
Retractable
Seating
The first three rows of
the bowl have been designed with retractable seating to
allow for the expansion of the open floor during a floor
show.
Suites
Six suites total have
been added to the building, each with 150 SQ. FT. They will
include 10 seats in the bowl and enclosed casual sitting
area with a bar and television. 900 SQ. FT.
Suite Lounges
An area behind the
suite of 400 Sq. Ft. each has been developed as a mingling
place for suite holders before and after the game. Special
events with large groups may be held here. It is also
possible for the suites to be built as one large party suite
and to be leased by the event instead of long contracts.

Club Area
Memberships for the
area would be sold annually and allow patrons to visit this
up-scaled food and drink venue. Included in the membership
would be special seating area with direct access to the club
between periods. Seats for 80 people will be provided inside
the club as well as private restrooms. 2,000 SQ. FT.
Pro Shop
There will be a small
retail space located off the lobby for the sale of team
merchandise and skating equipment. 850 SQ. FT.
Concessions
This area represents 20
service points that woyld be required for an arena
population of 4,000 hockey fans.
Restrooms
A total of 50 women's
and 26 men's fixtures will be provided. This will bring the
arena up to current standards. 5,000 SQ. FT.
Family Restrooms
Three private restrooms
were placed in the concourse for use of families or the
physically handicapped. 240 SQ. FT.
Large Banquet
Room
This large rental room
will hold 300 people seated and 600 in a lecture style
arrangement. It will be divisible into two rooms. 4,5000
SQ. FT.
Small Banquet
Room
Capable of seating 200
people with a lecture capacity of 400, this area will also
be dividable. 2,800 SQ. FT.
Meeting room
Intended for small
meetings, this room will hold up to 60 people. 1,000 SQ.
FT.
Warming Kitchen
This is a space to be
used by the caterers for prepping food, located adjacent to
the banquet rooms. 400 SQ. FT.

This storage space is
intended for extra equipment not in use in the banquet
rooms. 400 SQ. FT.

Additional toilets to
be used during events in the upper level. Three fixtures for
each gender are provided. 400 SQ. FT.

Administrative
Offices
Office space intended
to be used by the day-to-day staff of the arena. Views to
the ice are possible. 1,800 SQ. FT.

Offices
Six other offices have
been provided at 150 Sq. Ft. each. These would be assigned
to the team and other organizations that require space in
the building. 850 SQ. FT.

Eight locker rooms at
500 SQ. FT. each are planned for the recreation and high
school teams. A general locker area, toilets and showers are
provided for each rooms. Game officials will share
facilities in this area.
ICE FACILITIES
Ice Sheet
Two new ice sheets are
planned for the arena and pavilion at 17,000 Sq. Ft. This
will include new dasher boards and glass for each rink.
Refrigeration
Plant
A single refrigeration
plant servicing both new sheets of ice is being
proposed. 2,000 SQ. FT.
SERVICE FACILITIES
Loading/Receiving
Three loading docks are
provided with one having drive-thru capabilities to either
the pavilion or the arena.
Storage
Part of the continuous
space at the loading area, this space will help offset the
storage problem. It has access to the corridor that connects
the two facilities.
